The world is a place of suffering and happiness, depending on what has happened to us individually. People's experiences are different, and I believe we have all tasted the ups and downs of life at one point or the other. While some have succeed in finding lasting solutions to their problems, others are yet to. This keeps them in the web of daily bitter moments and regrets, subjecting them to live at the mercy of people who have shown up to give a helping hand.
However, it is worth mentioning that creating a better world around us is solely our responsibility. Many may wish us well, but in practical terms, they are likely not praying for us to be better than them. This reminds us that as we expect help from others, the bulk of what we need for our lives actually depends on us individually. As insufficient as we are, I urge us to always seek help from people where necessary. But never forget you - not them - own your problems.
